Research advice and guidance

-- We answer basic enquiries over the phone and give advice on the availability and location of archival sources

Information There is a 20 working day turn around for responses to your enquiries. While we do not undertake research on your behalf we can refer you to organisations who maintain lists of professional researchers.

Working days are Mondays - Fridays, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Pre-order Records in advance of your visit to the reading room
-- Make the most of your research day. Place your request at least 2 working days ahead of your visit and the records will be waiting for you to view when you arrive at the reading room

In person Our reading room is open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm
