During World War 1 the NSW Government reviewed the positions of all employees thought to be of enemy origin. Rhett Lindsay will outline the review and its outcome. This talk will be presented at the Dee Why Public Library. Kerry Farmer will also be presenting a short talk on DNA.

The State's archives hold a wealth of local historical information. John Cann will be speaking to the Bankstown Family History Group about researching local history using the NSW State archives, focusing on the Bankstown area.

Gail Davis will be speaking at the Society of Australian Genealogists about NSW Supreme Court probate records. These can contain a wealth of family history information - from an original will, codicils and letters of administration to birth death and marriage certificates. The session will include information on how to research probate records and some examples from the NSW State archives collection.

Gail Davis will showcase NSW State archives relating to both famous and infamous historical figures both in Australia and overseas. She will be presenting this talk to the Kogarah Historical Society. Come along and be amazed at who you may find in the State's archives.
