This is a consolidated index, incorporating the
- General retention and disposal authority: administrative records (GA28) and
- General retention and disposal authority: personnel records (GDA12)
and containing references to other general retention and disposal authorities where relevant.

The index covers the major subjects, functions and activities covered by the authorities. For each subject there may also be relevant records created under common activities including PLANNING, POLICY, PROCEDURES and REPORTING. These have only been stated in the index only if there is specific reference to them in the entry.
Where there are a number of relevant entries or all entries in the class relate to the subject matter, the activity number has been given, e.g. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT - CONSERVATION, 16.6.0. Where the subject matter only relates to one or a few entries in the activity, that entry number has been given, e.g. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT - CONSERVATION, 16.6.4.
