Next Records Managers Forum

You are invited to attend the next Records Managers Forum on Tuesday 12 March 2013. This invitation is also extended to any records/information management or related professionals in your organisation who may find the presentations useful.

The forum will be on the topic of strategic information management and include presentations from:

  • Dawn Routledge, Director Information, ICT Policy, Department of Finance and Services – on developing the NSW information management framework
  • Cassie Findlay, Project Manager, Digital Archives, State Records NSW – on the Open Government NSW web site initiative
  • Kate Cumming, Acting Senior Project Officer, Government Recordkeeping, State Records NSW – on social media and recordkeeping.

About the Forum

The Records Managers Forum promotes communication between NSW public sector records managers and provides an opportunity to exchange news, discuss issues of current concern and highlight achievements and projects in NSW Government agencies.

Themes for past Forums have included disaster management, the State Records Act, guidelines for transferring records as archives and digital recordkeeping systems implementation.

The Forums are held on a quarterly basis and attendance is limited to NSW public sector employees.
