Records Managers Forum - 12 October 2005

Approximately 60 records managers attended the Records Manager's Forum held at Western Sydney Records Centre, Kingswood, on Wednesday 12 October 2005.

Presentations

The forum featured three presentations, each of which was followed by a question and answer session. The presenters included Wendy Gallagher, Senior Archivist, Transfer and Custody, State Records, on how to transfer records as State archives to State Records as part of a records management program.

The second presenter was Robyn Grady from the Office of the Public Trustee NSW who provided an overview of transferring records as State archives which incorporated real life scenarios and tips for other agencies.

The final presenter was Elizabeth Hadlow, Senior Conservator, State Records who presented an overview of preservation and conservation issues and provided advice on how to manage, store and preserve records prior to being transferred as State archives.
