Wagga Wagga - Implementing records management software
In keeping with State Records' policy on holding one Records Manager's Forum per year outside of Sydney, the Forum for November was held at the Charles Sturt University Regional Archives in Wagga Wagga on Wednesday 30 November 2005.
The forum featured two presentations:
- an overview by the Director, Mr Don Boadle, of the role of the Charles Sturt University Regional Archives as both a regional repository for NSW State archives and a repository for other regional archives and University records, and
- a presentation by the University Records Manager for Charles Sturt University, Ms Shelley McMenamin (ppt, 744kb), on records management at CSU - including an overview of the problems associated with rolling out records management software in a widely dispersed network environment.
Following the Forum there was a tour of the Archives and refreshments.
