Cancellations

  • We will refund your registration fee for this course following written advice of your withdrawal, up to ten working days before the course.
  • We regret that no refund can be made for cancellations received less than ten working days before a course.
  • Should you be unable to attend, a substitute registration is welcome at no extra charge. If you need to substitute another staff member, you must let us know at least 5 working days before the course.
  • If you are unable to attend the course and have not been able to organise a substitution, you will still be charged for the course registration.

Postponement, alterations

  • We reserve the right to cancel or postpone courses due to unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to ensure that nominees for cancelled courses are placed on the next available course.
  • We reserve the right to alter the calendar or the content of programs at any time.

Liability

  • While all care is taken in providing training and development services, State Records and the State Library do not accept any liability for the use made by a client or its employees or agents of any training, products, instruments or services provided.

Enrolment

  • For those in the NSW Public Sector, places are allocated in order of receipt of registration form. Other applicants are placed on a reserve list and included in the course if places are available. Where a place is unavailable on your nominated date, we will contact you to see if we can place you on a later course.
  • Each course will have a maximum of 12 participants and a minimum of 8 participants.
  • A maximum of 6 participants from one organisation can be booked into the De-Dramatising Disasters course. If an organisation wishes to book 12 participants into one course arrangements should be made independently with the State Library. The State Records component of the course will not be offered in these circumstances.

Course fees

  • No discounts for multiple bookings are offered for this course.
  • The cost of this course includes morning and afternoon teas, a comprehensive workbook and a certificate.
  • Please note: lunch is not provided when courses are run at the State Library of NSW, but the area offers many convenient and pleasant eating choices. Lunch will be provided for courses offered at the Western Sydney Records Centre.
