Saturday 2 May 2015: Probate and Divorce Records held as State archives May 02, 2015 from 01:30 PM to 03:30 PM Campbelltown City Library Meeting Room 1, 1 Hurley Street Campbelltown,
Gail Davis will be presenting a talk at Campbelltown and District Family History Society. The talk will look at records concerning Probate with particular emphasis on wills and Divorce case papers and related records. The talk will also include information on how to preorder records for a visit to Kingswood.
Wednesday 6 May: Death Death Death May 06, 2015 from 07:30 PM to 10:00 PM Elouera Room, Sutherland District Trade Union Club (Tradies), The Kingsway, Gymea,
Gail Davis will be looking at records held as State archives dealing with death such as inquests, probate packets, wills, Intestate Estate case papers and Deceased Estate files. This presentation will be hosted by the Botany Bay Family History Society.
Thursday 21 May: Joint event with the Royal Australian Historical Society - Public Service / War Service May 21, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM History House 133 Macquarie Street Sydney NSW 2000 Australia,
10 000 NSW government employees volunteered for service in World War I — many gave their lives for our country. Others fulfilled essential services at home, and government departments were transformed to perform wartime roles. This event, hosted jointly with State Records NSW and the Royal Australian Historical Society showcases the rich array of records to be found in the State and National archives that reveal the stories from that time.

Gail Davis will be presenting this talk at Castle Hill Library. In addition to speaking about NSW State archives that relate generally to the War, Gail will also be focusing on NSW Public servants at war. Tickets for this event are available from the Library.

With so much online these days, records that have not been copied can get overlooked. Gail Davis will be presenting this seminar at Tuggerah Library on NSW State archives that are not available online.

State Records holds records relating to immigration to Sydney in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Gail Davis will be speaking at the Blue Mountains Family History Society Seminar about free immigration 1845-68. Her talk will include records on bounty and sponsored immigrants and those that paid their own way.
