This industrial school opened on 17 October 1906 as a Probationary Training Home for boys aged 8-17 who had been convicted of less serious offences in the Childrens' Court. Younger boys attended school and worked on the Farm. The school changed its name to the Mittagong Training School for Boys in 1947 and eventually closed in 1976.
