Reading Room access to probate packets: From Monday 9 November the probate packet retrieval service will be temporarily disrupted.
Probate Packets recalled by the Supreme Court: In consultation with the Supreme Court, State Records volunteers have commenced a project to correctly identify and list all probate packets held by State Records NSW.

'Online' microfilm of shipping lists available: State Records has recently completed a pilot project to digitise the microfilm copies of the Persons on bounty ships (Agent's Immigrant Lists), 1838-96 (NRS 5316); Persons on bounty ships arriving at Port Phillip, 1839-51 (NRS 5318) and Germans on bounty ships, 1849-52 (NRS 5320).
