Regional repositories
A network of regional repositories, located in host institutions in Armidale, Newcastle, Wagga Wagga, Wollongong and Broken Hill, store and provide access to State archives of regional significance and to copies of key State archives.
Government records are created in many agencies throughout the State
of New
South Wales. Many of these regional records that have been identified
as having
archival value are kept in regional archives repositories.
These
repositories also hold many other non-government archives of relevance
to their
region. The regional archives repositories are currently located
at:
- University of New England - Armidale
- Charles Rasp Library - Broken Hill
- Newcastle Region Library
- University of Newcastle
- Charles Sturt University - Wagga Wagga
- University of Wollongong
