Gail Davis will be presenting this seminar which will look at State archives where you may find information on your ancestor's business.

John Cann will be presenting this seminar on researching local history to the Springwood Historical Society. The talk will draw on examples from the Lower Blue Mountains area.

John Cann will be speaking to the Lake Macquarie Family History Group Inc. about researching NSW State archives in the State Records' reading room.
21 September: An Education in itself - Education and school records held as State Archives Sep 21, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM — The Hellenic Club, Matilda Street, Woden.,
The talk will look at those records which will help family and local historians in their research. It will show how to access records concerning schools, teachers and pupils and highlight some online resources as well.
