Pre-order probate packets
You can order up to four probate packets in advance. All probate packets are stored at the Western Sydney Records Centre, where they can be viewed. We do not transfer records between offices.
How to pre-order?
Simply fill out the form below. The probate series are numbered from 1-4 and it is essential that you specifiy which series the probate packet you require is from:
- Series 1: April 1817 - c. May 1873
- Series 2: 1873 - 1876
- Series 3: 1876 - c.1890
- Series 4: c. 1890 onwards
This is a rough approximation of the years in each series. Your final reference should always be the Probate Index.

When to pre-order
We suggest that you place your order at least two working days prior to your visit. Pre-orders received after 3.30pm will be available from 10.00am on the following day (11.00am on Saturdays).
