The maximum enrolment per course, unless otherwise specified, is 20 participants for all courses.
NSW public sector personnel have priority, non public sector employees may attend if places are available, at the discretion of NSW State Archives and Records.
The minimum enrolments per course, unless other wise specified, are:
- Records Management Fundamentals 8
- Implementing a Retention and Disposal Authority for Local Government Records (Sydney) 8, (Close Regional) 10, (Distant Regional) 12
- Retention and Disposal of Public Health Sector Records (Sydney) 8, (Close Regional) 10, (Distant Regional) 12.
Places are allocated in order of receipt of registration form. Where a place is unavailable on your nominated date, we will contact you to see if we can place you on a later course.
It is NSW State Archives and Records policy that, in the interests of fairness, a single agency is only allowed to initially book up to 9 places in a training calendar course, and where any vacancies remain in a course two weeks prior to the date of the course an agency which has already booked up to 9 places will be offered more places (and may take all remaining unfilled places). This policy does not apply to 'in house' courses.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone courses due to unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to ensure that nominees for cancelled courses are placed on the next available course.
Should you be unable to attend a course, a substitute registration is welcome at no extra charge. If you need to substitute another staff member, you must let us know at least 5 working days before the course.
We will refund your registration fee for the training course following written advice of your withdrawal, up to ten working days before the course.
We regret that no refund can be made for cancellations received less than ten working days before a course.
We reserve the right to alter the calendar or the content of programs at any time.
We will not necessarily offer all our courses on each training calendar. To find out when a particular course is likely to be offered next, contact us.
Copyright in all materials is owned by NSW State Archives and Records, unless otherwise agreed.
