Annie's trial in 1921 - evidence of Charlotte Bryant
Part of the evidence against Annie in this trial was the eye witness testimony of two women who had abortions at similiar times to the deceased, Alice Berry. This statement, by Charlotte Bryant, is direct evidence of how Nurse Turnbull conducted her abortions. The method appears to have changed little since 1895. There was no eye witness testimony of Alice's abortion or anyone to confirm she had visited Annie.
