This is part of an image taken by Adstra Airways between 17 June and 7 July 1941. It shows the railway line and the road before the Stuart Highway was built. Adelaide River settlement is the light area north of the river (in the centre left of the image), while across the river on the right is the Adelaide River Railway Station (bottom of image).
